Who We Are
As fashion’s leading think-tank and change agency, Fashion Roundtable works through consistent dialogue with governments, business leaders and stakeholders. Our unique team drawn from fashion, industry, economics, academia and politics offer transformative strategies across the sector’s complex value chain.
We are the only organisation that works across all aspects of the fashion sector’s complex global supply chain, delivering creative leadership to solve the world’s pressing social, environmental and economic problems, with a focus on creative industry issues, heritage crafts, our industrial legacies, and an innovation-led future. Fashion Roundtable creates policy roadmaps to address these issues with social-purpose driven solutions. We build active partnerships with industry experts, business leaders and sustainable innovators, developing independent evidence-based data insights, research, and reports.
Fashion Roundtable is underpinned by five pillars which we instil and evaluate throughout our work, each overseen by one of our committees made up of industry experts and stakeholders.
The pillars are:
1) Craft and Culture
2) Creative Wellbeing
3) Education
4) Representation and Inclusion
5) Sustainability and Social Justice
As Secretariat for the only All-Party Parliamentary Group focused on the fashion industry’s transition towards social justice and sustainable ambitions, Fashion Roundtable is uniquely placed at the epicentre of sector expertise and political insights, allowing us a pivotal and uniquely powerful role at the intersection between industry, creativity and policy, with strong networks and events capacities.
Fashion Roundtable is at the forefront, creating analysis and solutions which offer a new vision, where planetary boundaries and regenerative practices are intrinsic to an innovative and inclusive creative economy. Our work places people and the planet in harmony with value creation globally. From the sector’s first diversity and inclusion report, through to a radical rethink of economic strategy with our work on the Creative Wellbeing Economy, and policy objectives which incentivise sustainable businesses – we have consistently built trade, reputation and sustainable solutions across the sector.
Fashion Roundtable is a not-for-profit, non-partisan, independent voice.
